The Mini Restoration Part 8

Hey so guys here the updates on the restoration of my mini.. i'm gonna let the pictures do the talking and same your time.. enjoy

 dashboard fitted..

 thermostat holes added for slightly more water flow

 bypass hose added as well to reduce the temperature

 changing new clutch plate

old one was worn out.. 

 bypass hose and grounding cables fitted.. lights are brighter

 fuse box cleaned to brand new.. shines..

oil catch tank fitted as breather keeps getting soaked in oil 

 koni classics adjustables fitted all around

getting exhaust leak fixed 

fitting the cones back.. springs are too soft for my taste 

dunlop 

readjusting the rear adjustables.. was too low

Cameron Highland Mini Drive.

Hey guys so here's some of the pictures from the cameron's trip which i took part in the first week of February 2012.. i have to say it was the first time i was driving my mini for a long journey which consisted of taking the old trunk roads and then the new highway up to brinchang.. total 500km round trip and im glad to say my 998cc mini drove splendidly with no problems what so ever.. the car ran brilliantly except for the fact it did have much power..other than that the winding road really did put the car to test.. handling was phenomenal even with the softer springs.. anyways heres the pictures.. enjoy!
